Planning the perfect proposal isn’t easy. There is a lot to think about, from choosing the perfect ring, to finding that magical spot. With borders currently closed for international travel, there’s never been a better opportunity to explore our own backyard. Our last blog featured the top spots in Tassie to pop the question. This time we are exploring all WA has to offer to help you plan a truly special and memorable day.
Arguably one of the most romantic destinations in WA is Cable Beach in Broome. Even though Cable Beach is one of Australia’s most famous beaches, it rarely feels crowded, giving you and your significant other plenty of time to soak up the romance without interruptions. If you are after a unique way to experience Australia’s undisputed most beautiful beach, venture to the shores and take a ride on the iconic camel train as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean.

The Margaret River region has a diverse array of picturesque landscapes, scenic locations and romantic activities that would appeal to almost any future proposer. If your partner is a wine enthusiast, take a tour through one of the region’s renowned cellar doors, which together produce more than 20% of the nation’s premium wine. If your dream proposal is all about sunsets, then organise a trip to Busselton Jetty which offers an ocean sunset view unique to the West Coast of Australia. The picturesque boardwalk is the perfect photo opportunity for a proposal.

Australia is home to some extraordinary natural attractions and the Lake Hillier pink salt lake has to be one of the most impressive. Whilst the lake can be viewed by boat we recommend taking to the air for a truly unique proposal. From above, the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean contrast against the striking pink lake. This makes for a perfect photo opportunity for your proposal.

Rottnest Island doesn’t disappoint when it comes to stunning beaches, with turquoise waters, vibrant marine life and one of the cutest animals in Australia – the quokka. The island is only a 25 minute ferry ride from Fremantle, making it possible to visit as a day trip or by indulging in one of the island’s luxury hotels. With 63 picturesque beaches to choose from, it won’t be tough to find that dreamy spot to pop the question.

For the adventure seeking couple, El Questro Wilderness Park, WA provides an abundance of breathtaking proposal opportunities. The 7000 acre property consists of endless landscapes to explore including thermal springs, lush gorges, waterfalls and panoramic lookouts. Future proposers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing that perfect spot to propose. For a truly memorable day, organise a helicopter ride to one of the park’s stunning waterfalls.
